The Heider Lab welcomes students from high school to graduate school for research opportunities. Our students are predominantly affiliated with the Joint Clemon/MUSC Biomedical Data Science and Informatics (BDSI) Program, which offers both MS and PhD degrees. Post-Doctoral Fellows:
Dr. Obeid is currently seeking a post-doctoral fellow for his ADAPT in SC (Advancement of Personalized and Transformative Healthcare in South Carolina) research community. ADAPT in SC is a National Science Foundation RII Track-1 EPSCoR grant. The successful candidate will be working with a vibrant research team on AI applications in the field of biomedicine with focus on large language models, explainability, ethics, trust, and other interesting research areas. The position is based at MUSC in the Biomedical Informatics Center. Contribute to shaping scientific objectives, research projects planning, execution, and analysis related to AI projects in biomedicine. Collaborate with faculty members at MUSC and across the state with considerable impact. Participate in the design and execution of research projects, and the preparation of presentations and manuscripts.
